NATA Accredited Calibration Services
At Testech, we are proud to collaborate with Melbourne Testing Services (MTS), a trusted provider of comprehensive NATA-accredited calibration servicers – Melbourne Testing Services-Accredited Organisation (Site No.1040)-NATA.
Through this strategic partnership, we deliver industry-leading testing instruments, backed by top-tier calibration and maintenance services. This collaboration ensures every system supplied and supported by Testech performs with the highest accuracy and treaceability in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
Our Calibration Partnership
Melbourne Testing Services (MTS) provides a broad range of calibration services, with an accredited scope covering force measuring devices, extensometers, electronic balances, crosshead displacement, calipers, and digital & dial gauges.
All calibrations are performed to the highest standards, and measurement results are traceable to the International System of Units (SI). The reference equipment used by MTS is calibrated by the National Measurement Institute (NMI) or other NATA-accredited laboratories, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and consistency across every service.
In partnership with MTS, Testech offers a complete equipment and calibration solution, coordinating new equipment supply with ongoing verification, adjustment, and certification services. This integrated approach simplifies laboratory compliance and enhances long-term performance.
Accredited Calibration Scope
MTS provides highly accurate on-site and laboratory calibration services across Australia, ensuring laboratories remain compliant with AS 2193 and NATA ISO 17025 guidelines.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: What does it mean when calibration is NATA-accredited?
NATA accreditation confirms that the calibration laboratory complies with ISO/IEC 17025 standards and is technically competent to produce measurement results that are traceable to national or international standards.
Q2: How often should I calibrate my testing machine?
Most mechanical and materials testing machines should be calibrated annually, or more frequently if required by quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001) or test standards such as AS 2193 or ISO 7500-1.
Q3: Can you provide onsite calibration services?
Yes — through MTS, we offer onsite NATA-accredited calibration for UTMs, load cells, extensometers, and other instruments across Australia.
Q4: What is the calibration range of MTS?
MTS can perform load measurements up to 2 200 kN in compression and 500 kN in tension onsite, and up to 20 000 kN in compression within its laboratory.
Q5: Do you calibrate equipment not supplied by Testech?
Absolutely. Calibration services are available for all major brands and models, including systems not originally purchased through Testech.
Q6: What documentation do I receive after calibration?
Each calibration includes a NATA-endorsed certificate with measurement results, uncertainties, and traceability references.
Q7: How can I book a calibration service?
You can contact us directly via sales@testechsolutions.com.au or through our website’s contact form. We’ll coordinate your service schedule with MTS and confirm all required instruments beforehand.
