Aggregate Impact Value Apparatus 42-4005
This apparatus is engineered for heavy-duty use, featuring specially hardened steel surfaces to minimize wear. Its assembly is heavily plated for corrosion resistance and includes a rigid frame with a quick-release trigger mechanism, ensuring an effective free fall of the hammer upon release.
A built-in counter automatically tracks the number of blows delivered, providing precise control during testing. The apparatus comes complete with a 75 mm diameter by 50 mm deep cylindrical measure, along with a 16 mm diameter by 600 mm long steel tamping rod.

This machine features a closed, hollow cylindrical steel drum that rotates around its horizontal axis on ball bearing units, securely mounted on a robust base framework. The full enclosure minimizes noise during operation.
Driven by an electric motor and gearbox unit, the drum operates at speeds between 30 and 33 RPM via an enclosed belt drive system. Inside the drum, a full-length steel shelf is installed, accessible through a dust-proof opening.
The cylinder includes a removable internal shelf, with one shelf position designed to comply with AS, ASTM and EN test standards.
Operator-friendly controls are conveniently located on the right side of the machine at a comfortable height. The machine is equipped with start and stop push buttons, along with a subtracting revolution counter, allowing users to preset the number of revolutions for automatic stopping.
Pendulum Skid Resistance Tester 42-6000
The Pendulum Skid Resistance Tester is a vital tool for assessing road surface friction.
This device measures the frictional resistance between a rubber slider, mounted on the end of a pendulum arm, and the surface being tested. It provides road engineers with a reliable method for evaluating the slip and skid resistance of both wet and dry surfaces, applicable in laboratory settings and field conditions.
The tester operates with a pendulum that rotates around a spindle attached to a vertical pillar. A head of known mass at the end of the tubular arm is fitted with a rubber slider. The pendulum is released from a horizontal position, striking the sample surface at a constant speed. The distance traveled by the head after impact indicates the frictional characteristics of the sample surface.
