Density, Voids and Bulking
For porous materials like aggregates, the particle density can vary depending on the testing method and equipment used. Additionally, different particle sizes within a sample may exhibit different densities. Particle density, measured in Mg/m³, is numerically equivalent to specific gravity. Various standards outline testing methods tailored to the type and size of the aggregate being evaluated.
Constructed from heavy-gauge steel, these bulk density measures meet the standards of BS 812, EN 1097-3, EN 12350-6, or ASTM C138. Each unit comes with built-in carrying handles and features a corrosion-resistant coating. Various sizes are available to suit different testing needs.

Buoyancy Balance supplied with Support Frame Water Tank & Suspension Hook
ELE’s buoyancy balance system features a sturdy support frame with a water tank mounted on a platform. A mechanical lifting mechanism raises the water tank to immerse the specimen suspended beneath the balance. The balance can also function as a standard weighing device, making it a versatile and comprehensive tool for laboratory applications. It has a capacity of 6000 g with a 0.1 g precision, and comes complete with the frame, water tank, and suspension hook.
